Grant Thornton, a $2B professional services firm, marked its 100-year anniversary with one goal: create unforgettable, celebratory moments that would inspire pride, spark momentum, and rally 8,000+ colleagues around the firm’s next century. The communications strategy—spanning pre-, during, and post-event engagement across several months—needed to surprise and delight employees, reinforce a forward-looking vision, and celebrate the culture that makes Grant Thornton unique.  

 

THE EXPERIENCE

Our team developed the “100 and Beyond” campaign, a multi-channel activation that combined high-energy events with thoughtful, sustained engagement, bringing our Burst & Hum™ approach to life.  

From a dedicated microsite and internal teaser videos to awards celebrations and milestone events, this communications-first strategy unified employees across geographies, integrated executive messaging, and built a lasting sense of excitement and pride in the firm’s next chapter.

Grant Thornton’s centennial campaign energized 8,000 U.S. employees, creating a wave of internal pride that extended to clients and alumni.
