Expertise: Copywriting & Editing, Storytelling, To-Do Lists
Sydney’s been writing since she could hold a pencil — from documenting family vacations in extreme detail (why?), getting overly excited about boring college admission essays, to editing the majority of her volleyball teammates’ papers in college (again, why?). Storytelling was in her genes before she even knew that’s what she was doing. Some call it destiny. The smart call it a career path.
Today, Sydney is privileged to tell stories for those big voices and even bigger ideas. From big events and custom microsites to connection-making details as small as a text or card, she makes it her mission to craft meaningful experiences that make clients feel seen and audiences feel recognized.
She frequently draws inspiration and motivation from her Southern roots (she’s from Louisville, KY), fully embodying what it means to be a “cat lady,” and re-decorating her apartment every two weeks.
When asked why she loves working at AJ, Sydney said, “August Jackson is home to the best people — those who simultaneously challenge and believe in me, allowing me to be a part of something bigger than myself. I am thrilled to work alongside some of the most creative, innovative, genuinely hilarious, and kind people.”
