Event production is in Mike’s DNA. He started at a very young age as a runner/PA at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. Over the years, he has been fortunate enough to produce events of all shapes and sizes all over the world for clients including General Motors, Allstate, Bank of America, Boeing, FedEx and P&G. He also spent some time on the venue-side of the industry booking private/corporate events at the historic Chicago Theatre.
Mike has launched several brands and products over the course of his career, but helping to nurture and develop AJ’s junior staff along their own professional journeys is what he is most proud of. That, and being the guy who finally got # and @ symbols for the iconic Chicago Theatre marquee (You’re welcome, Marketers).
If he’s not at work, chances are he’s either off somewhere fishing, making music in his basement studio, or just sleeping in to recover from a beer league hockey game late last night.
When asked why he loves working at AJ, Mike said, “AJ has the chops and reach of a giant/global agency, but feels and runs like a small/boutique agency. It’s the best of both worlds and a truly great group of people that inspire him on a daily basis.”
