I put purpose into practice by…
creating visual experiences that evoke emotion.
Micah was introduced to the world of video editing in his freshman year of high school. At that time, he was heavily into videos games and there was a contest to win an XBox 360 by creating a video montage of games showcased at E3 2005. Spoiler alert, didn’t win the prize, but he did discover his passion, which he is now lucky enough to call “work.”
Throughout his career, he always looks for ways to improve his editor capabilities. From supporting team members in pre-production, on-set and post-production roles to attending conferences, taking online classes and working with creatives to do alternate cuts, “just because” it’s important to continue learning. “I believe I can do anything I set my mind to, and that’s becoming the best editor and videographer I can be.”
