Cara has 15 years of experience. She got her start as an entertainment production coordinator at Navy Pier. In this role, she prided herself on producing Chicago’s famous firework shows, Winter Wonder Fest, and Halloween festival. Her favorite event at Navy Pier was the International Snow Sculpting Competition. She coordinated talent from all over the world, tons of artificial snow, and even sled dogs!
She then moved to the sports world, working for Houston Astros as a Senior Manager for Special Events. Her team produced all game day and non-game day special events. In 2017, the Astros pulled off the impossible and won the World Series. This kicked her team into overdrive to deliver a world-class experience for the fans.
In 2018, Cara moved to the big apple to take on one of the most famous arenas in the world — Madison Square Garden. She joined their team as the Director of Event Strategy and Operations. This venue hosted a wide array of events, from sports to concerts. She enjoyed the diversity of work and challenges.
Cara is inspired by literature; she loves a good story. She also enjoys telling stories and sharing her experiences.
At AJ, Cara’s day-to-day responsibilities include aligning creative ideas with production realities, forecasting physical and financial requirements for events, organizing resources, and supporting various teams.
When asked why she loves working at AJ, Cara said, “I enjoy AJ’s collaborative team spirit. The people at AJ are unbelievably welcoming and generous with their time. It’s very heartwarming.”
