There Are No Words…
Nokia
We started with a love story – a universal narrative that crossed continents and cultures and showcased the kind of connectivity and technological savvy that early adopters could relate to in their own lives.
To accommodate multi-lingual audiences and to demonstrate the ingenuity of the product, the story was told entirely through the OVI technology loaded onto each device. So in other words, there are no words. The plot was developed and furthered by showcasing the dynamic nature of OVI at work, making OVI the unquestionable star.
From the outset, our client wanted to film in a number of global locations to convey authenticity. However, significant time limitations did not allow for filming in the desired locales of India, Brazil, London and New York City. Our solution was to art direct and film in credible settings in two stateside locations – New York City and Key Biscayne, FL – that through sound location scouting and art design would appear to be set in India, Brazil and London.
The result is a short film whose story maintains the viewers' interest and seeds the myriad ways one can use OVI in their personal and professional lives.
